Scent Profile: Geosmin, Spikenard, Vetiver, Oakmoss, Patchouli. In other words, the scent of good ol' clean, honest, DIRT!
Though many will want to wear this scent as is, it really shines when combined with Mega Flora! That's right folks, this series of fragrances; Mega Flora, Terra Preta, and La Tierra Mojada are to be mixed and matched! Essentially, when you apply these products you are constructing the rain forest from the ground up!
Ex. Shave with Terra Preta then chase with a splash of Mega Flora...or try it the other way around for a different ration! I highly encourage you to mix it up and experiment.
Know Your Roots
Each bottle of Terra Preta contains clippings of the Indian Vetiver Plant, that not only add a thematic, otherworldly visual element, but also in time, a depth to the aftershave/cologne through a slow tincturing process, set at a steady rate by the addition of the Vetiver Hydrosol.
The root is first soaked in the hydrosol to swell up and reconstitute the root so that when added to the alcohol it may better penetrate into the cellular tissue and absorb more of the aroma.
What Is Terra Preta?
Terra Preta or Amazonian Dark Earth (ADE) is really something special when it comes to our human history on this planet and real signs of ancient tech! That's right, it's highly probable that this particular soil was created by ancient scientists over 8000 years ago! It was through the creation of this super fertile, regenerative soil that South America was able to support all the ancient cities it once did before the Europeans crashed the party!
Though Terra Preta was once a controversial idea, more and more scientists are in agreement these days, thanks to the most recent introduction of Airborn LIDAR Archeology! Previously undiscovered settlements that once house over a million people are popping up everyday! And what supported these communities? Terra Preta or Farming, a condition that would need to pre-date these large populations.
Terra Preta is so amazing and fertile that it is still in use all over the Amazon to this date!

Why is Preshave Soap BETTER Than Preshave Oil?
Well first off, as with anything in life, it all comes down to personal preference. I can tell you why I think it's better, but in the end, do what works for you! First off, unlike using oil, a Preshave Soap will not gunk up your gear and rinses away easy.
I was seriously turned off by all the clean up involved when using oils. Plus I was always concerned about it getting into my favorite brushes undetected and going rancid. Also, applying oil with your hands then holding onto a blade is not the safest move in my book. [That said, if you currently use an oil, apply it with your non-shaver hand!] In short, Preshave Oils inspired me to find a better way!
Why a Preshave Soap is More Effective
A preshave soap really offers more bang for your buck; for one, it's more affordable and longer lasting. Use it first to clean the face before you shave, then rinse. Then reapply the soap prior to whipping up lather: First in a circular motion, then against the grain. The soap gets under the hairs, slightly propping them up, giving the blade more surface area to "bite" on to. The glycerin acts as a humectant pulling more water into the hair, prepping and softening it, thus making it a bigger target to mow down!

I have read a few interpretations by folks in the forums who have noticed CUBE's appearances and have been flummoxed. What Does it Mean?
