Sci-Fi Lime Star Jelly Aftershave | A Whole New Species of Aftershave | Mentholated or Menthol Free!

Believe it or not this is probably our 4th time dropping a straight Lime scent in the last decade! The original being from 2013 was dubbed Old Tyme Lime and then a couple years later we did a Long Island Lime for a NYC meet up! Sales were steady at first but then interest in citrus scents seemed to wane once more. I think we may have just been ahead of the times on this? Whatever the case may be, Fran and I decided once again to take another crack and a quintessential Lime Scent! 

This time around however we decided to add a little more depth and, dare I say sophistication, into the mix with opting for Persian Lime rather than the standard. Boasting a slightly sweeter yet still tart scent when compared to other limes it really stimulates the senses. In fact, in the world of aroma therapy it is believed Persian Lime can help enhance your mental focus when dealing with daily tasks...which may be especially wise when you consider the blade you are passing over your throat, no?  

 

Star Jelly?

Unlike traditional balms, our Star Jelly absorbs rapidly into freshly shaven skin without any greasy, heavy feeling build up! Star Jelly leaves your skin moisturized and silky. A refreshing, alternative that you instantly will fall in love with! 

What's Inside?

Allantoin: a naturally occurring nitrogenous compound used as a skin conditioning agent. It can be derived from animals, however the allantoin we use is derived from plants. 

Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides: from coconut oil and glycerin, it’s considered an excellent emollient. It’s included in cosmetics due to its mix of fatty acids that skin can use to resist moisture loss. This ingredient’s value for skin is made greater by the fact that it’s considered gentle.

Vegetable Glycerine: is derived from soy and is used in cosmetics and body care products to assist in retaining moisture. It is invaluable as a natural source ingredient with emollient like properties which can soften the skin.
